Well anon, first things first you’d have to understand that everything we do and conclude is based on speculation and things we know and can infer with whatever we can see and hear only. Yes, certain fans do go a little too far with their theories and speculations and come up with some ridiculous endgame that somehow makes sense to them but if it makes them happy and they are hurting no one, I don’t see why we should take that happiness away from them, it’s a free space after all. I think both ships have the possibility of being very real they also can just be very close, point is we all don’t know shit so we can assume what we want, as long as you know your limits and not hurt anyone.

Secondly, numbers aren’t everything. Sure, stats have to come from a real life sample, but you can’t use that to generalise the entire male population in SK let alone the entire world, can you? You can come and throw p-values and what not at me but sexuality and love isn’t something you measure. They can seem like friends to some, lovers to others but at the end of the day, none of us really know what’s the truth so there is honestly no point is fighting and arguing about who’s right or wrong because we are all inferring with opinions, and opinions are subjective to different individuals and have zero basis and leverage on the situation which we ALL aren’t privy to, so tell me why are people still fighting like they know everything and are right?

I work in the media industry and I am telling you mediaplay is very real and it does exist for alot of purposes one of those is to cover shit up. They exploit real relationships, make up fake ones for other purposes, scandalise for profit and are very good at packaging stories  and have entire teams just in charge of analysing reactions of viewers, they are extremely proficient at selling information to influence different classes of viewers in whatever way is best to make you believe what they want you to believe. 

I’m not so sure about chanbaek, I don’t really look out for them. And I wouldn’t go as far as to say kaisoo is definitely real but I am telling you, something is up with them. There is news value in them and tv stations as well as news broadcasters are very aware of that. I’m a journalism student, and I’m telling you celebrities only have news value when something is up and juicy. 

So much for the homophobic society Korea is, that famous incident, the one where countless news agencies took and posted kaisoo photos is already very suspicious.  But even as a layman, isn’t that weird, just think about it. How many other otps have you seen get their pictures exclusively taken, with conscious framing then broadcasted for the entire country to see; pictures that may or may not have homosexual connotations? And if it’s to lead an exo article why not take a picture of the whole group, or some other otp, the leader or something why THAT picture? And as I say, big companies like SM and YG have all the juicy bits and have a very big risk of losing reputation as well as gaining esp when they have so many wild teenage idols who can fuck up or raise their stocks in nanoseconds, do you think news agencies would let them go easy? Like wise, do you think such a multibillionaire conglomerate is gonna let these puny news agencies fuck them over with young hormonal kids? What these news agencies want, SM can offer in a heartbeat and more, agencies are putty in their hands, and SM can play as big a game they want with fans and the world, so you tell me who you want to believe.
